Obituary for Patricia M. (Pat) Romskog

Our mom, Pat, age 86, was called home to be with family and friends we have already lost on June 21, 2025. Pat was born on September 13, 1938, in Chicago, IL, to Albert and Marie (Polodna) Locy and raised in La Crosse by James and Marie (Polodna) Williams. She married Galen Romskog on October 3, 1959, at St. Wenceslas Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on February 8, 2009. Pat was employed by Lakeview Health Center in West Salem and Hillview Health Center in La Crosse.

Survivors include her 3 children, Jeffery (Mary) Romskog of Mukwonago, Teresa (James) McKay of Sparta, and Sandra (David) Sesvold of West Salem; 5 grandchildren, Anna, Niklas (Kelia Yanito), Peder (Meredith DeBack) Romskog, Eric and Stephanie Sesvold. She is also survived by her sister Bernita (Howard) Sheehan, brothers, Charles (Barb) Callan, John (Kim) Williams, sisters-in-law Lois (Robert) Miller, Linda Williams and many nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Al Locy, Bill, Paul, Butch, and Rick Williams and a nephew.

The family would like to thank Mayo Clinic Hospice for their care and support. We would like to also thank Quality Comfort Care who provided 24 hour care to keep our mom comfortable in her home at Salem Terrace. Memorials may be made to these services in her name.

A Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 28, 2025, at St. Teresa of Kolkata Catholic Church, 210 W Hamlin St. in West Salem. Visitation will be at 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass at the church. Burial will be at Neshonoc Cemetery.
