Obituary for Anita M. Hofer

She is survived by her daughters, Amanda (Gabriel) Martinez and Bethany Hofer (fiancé, Austin Wells); and her grandkids, Harper Martinez, Liam Martinez, and Gabe Martinez “JR”. Anita was formerly married to Gary Hofer for 28 years. She was preceded in death by many dear family members.

Anita was a shining star who inspired countless lives with her generosity and compassion. She found joy in sharing precious moments with her daughters and grandkids. Anita will be remembered for her spunky personality and her love for crafting and baking. Not too many people would turn down her homemade chocolate chip cookies, lemon bars, or apple pies.

A private burial will take place with immediate family members. Join us for a celebration of her life on Wednesday, April 9th, from 4-7 PM at the Club 16 Tavern in Sparta, WI. We invite family and friends to come together to honor her life and share stories that reflect on the joy she brought into our lives.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
